11-30-2020 No SRKW Sightings Here but Lots of Humpback Sightings

 Thru November 29th

next day

This one was with the other on the 28th but not the 29th.
...there have been more than these 2 in the area in the last few days.

Several times heard over the Lime Kiln hydrophones...most often in the night or early morning...
...most recent was close to midnight last night (11-29)...

J Pod has been coming and going - the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Puget Sound...normal for them at this time of year...
K and L pods haven't been 'heard from in quite a while'...

...and this morning it's pouring rain...good morning to get things done!

...and shortly after posting this I learn that J Pod went north in the night and showed up in heading toward the Strait of Georgia.
--ha-ha- I know better than to assume where they went after leaving Puget Sound yesterday...I am assuming (there I go again!) that all of them went that way...but only they know for sure, at the moment..
