...some came down from the north in the morning...
...others came up to meet them...
...still others spent hours in the afternoon between County Park and Lime Kiln Park...
...and still others were in two different places way to the north in the Strait of Georgia...
...through the pouring rain I was able to get images of Granny J-2 and her group, Group A, along with the J16s, Lea K-14 and Lobo K-26 (most likely her other two kids were there), the J22s - Oreo J-22, her two kids and Rhapsody J-32 (usually with the J11s and J17s 'Group B')...
...with them were the L12s, the group in the video clip...
...the afternoon group I hadn't a clue as to who until I heard them on the hydrophones as they headed up island and not down island where the rest of Group B was...
...off to locate just who was with that group...we never did find them, but instead we found the rest of K pod in Boundary Pass coming south...Scoter K-25 surfaced with his tag side showing...
...Rainshadow K-37 rounding the corner at Turn Pt...
...Spock K-20 porpoising....
...Cappuccino K-21 and some awesome lighting...
...Tika K-33 in the sunset...
..there were whales in many places and I was sure someone would awaken me in the night over the hydrophones...that is until I got home to find that I had no internet connection...and that meant no hydrophones at least until tomorrow...oh, no!
