8-17-14 Where Is Everyone Else?

Sunday, August 17th
...Group A, that's just 1/2 of J Pod and Onyx L-87, were seen up at the Fraser River again this morning...
...it's now been six days of only seeing Group A and they have been spending a lot of time closer to the Fraser River...
...our trip on Maya's Westside Charters began with blue sky...

...but soon there was fog... it adds another dimension to watching the whales...and today's fog was about perfect - not too much of it!

 

 

...T'ilem I'nges J-49 was not close so my camera did the job!

...the whales were heading in the direction of 'coming down'...but would they make it?...maybe on the hydrophones tonight?...
...with so much of the sockeye coming down to the Fraser River from the north, would we ever see the rest of the Community of whales back in here?...
